John Altier is a Managing Director at Watermark Capital Management. With an extensive background in fixed-income markets, he focuses on assisting individuals, families and businesses with navigating the economic landscape to meet their financial goals.

As someone who has been involved in all financial markets for over three decades, his knowledge and experience allow him to implement financial strategies to best suit his client’s long-term objectives.

Prior to joining Watermark in 2019, John spent thirty-three years in the fixed-income business in various research, trading, sales and management roles. John spent a significant portion of his career at UBS as head of US Treasuries and Agencies sales.

John holds a B.A. from St. Lawrence University. He has FINRA Series 3,7,9,10, 63 registrations and Life and Health licenses. John lives in New Canaan, CT., with his wife Christina and daughters Anna and Isabella.
